Dragon Age II demo announced

The entire world stands on the brink of war and you are the one person at the center of it all.

On February 22, 2011, BioWare will release a demo for Dragon Age II, allowing gamers on all platforms to experience a portion of this epic action RPG. Featuring enhanced graphics, faster, more responsive combat and a gripping storyline, the Dragon Age II demo is your chance to find out firsthand why IGN, Game Informer, MTV and The New York Times’ Seth Schiesel have endorsed Dragon Age II as one of the most anticipated games of 2011.

In the demo, players will venture through the game’s prologue, choosing from three different character classes. They’ll also learn more about Hawke and hone their skills and abilities that will make them the ultimate hero. After finishing the prologue, players will enter a key new location in the world of Dragon Age, Kirkwall, befriending Isabela, a romantic interest in the game who is also a deadly smuggler. Upon completion of the demo, players will unlock a special weapon, Hayder’s Razor, an ancient dwarven blade which increases health, mana, and combat abilities, in the full release of Dragon Age II.*

Order of War: Challenge demo released

Wargaming.net, a strategy game specialist, reveals that ORDER OF WAR: Challenge demo is now available on the Steam official demo page.

The demo will allow players to lead any of the three nations – the USA, Germany and the USSR – and test their skills in battles against each. Packing six competitive multiplayer modes – Secure the Base, Mercenaries, Survival, Expansion, Instant Battle and Free-for-All – the demo will provide a wide range of gameplay options.

“We’ve worked hard on creating a really deep and action-packed multiplayer experience”, says Nick Katselapov, the game producer. “With this extended demo we wanted to give players a true idea of what Order of War: Challenge will deliver”.

Order of War: Challenge will be available on Steam on the 12th of March.

The First MMOG Based on the LEGO Play Experience on Display in Booth #5421; Meet the Developers and the LEGO Fans Co-Creating the Game

LEGO® Universe is coming to life at CES 2010 with hands-on demos, beta sign ups, and the debut game trailer. Booth visitors can also meet LEGO fans helping to co-create the game alongside the professional development team. The first MMOG – massively-multiplayer online game – based on the LEGO play experience, LEGO Universe will launch on the PC during the second half of 2010.

CES takes place in the Las Vegas Convention Center from January 7-10, 2010, and LEGO Universe will be in North Hall, booth #5421. This is the first time that hands-on demos will be made available.

With a creative and building focus, LEGO Universe invites players to explore, battle, make friends, and flex their imaginations with the brick in a vibrant online world. Developed by The LEGO Group and NetDevil, LEGO Universe is a family-friendly online game, appropriate for players aged eight and above. The LEGO brick lies at the center of the experience, and several levels of building are available, from simple gameplay-oriented challenges all the way up to sophisticated brick-by-brick building.

Demo for EA Sports FIFA MANAGER 10 available

The new edition of popular football manager simulation will be released on October 30th, but for those that cannot wait a demo is available now. In the demo which is released today, virtual team managers can play half a season in one of the top leagues from England, Germany, France, Italy, Poland and Spain. The respective save games can be continued in the final version.

The demo of FIFA MANAGER 10 contains all the available game modes such as the 3D game, text mode, videotext and instant results. That means the players can try out, among other things the improved 3D match engine featuring your manager on the sideline and the new user interface with resolution up to 1920*1200.

In order to minimize the download size, FIFA MANAGER 10 demo waives 3D player faces, 3D commentary as well as the all free online mode which is included in FIFA MANAGER 10´s full game for the first time.

FIFA MANAGER 10´s extensive player database includes over 3.900 teams and more than 37.000 players, of which over 9.000 are in the game with their original pictures. Additional players can be added via the editor.
