A whole lot of new challenges await the players of The Chronicles of Spellborn®. The Dutch developer of the fantasy MMOPRG The Chronicles of Spellborn®, Spellborn NV, released today a new Content Patch to the live servers, named “Scroll of the Second Path”. After an automatic update to the new version 1.0.2, Players will now find Wandering Unique Bosses, called Menaces, in each region of the Shards. Moreover, the update brings a completely new feature for The Chronicles of Spellborn®: the Tutorial. This tutorial, taking place on board of a Shardship, explains new players how to control their character, how to interact with the game environment and how the active manual aiming combat system works. After completing this initiation, Spellborn players will land on the Docks of Hawksmouth, after and impressive and breathtaking in-game and real-time cinematic. From these Docks, they will be able to start questing in the Shard of Parliament and even to partake in PvP battles in Erik’s Mosh Pit, a PvP-enabled ring located just on the outskirts of Hawksmouth City.
It is important to note that Players do not lose their valuable PeP level any longer after being defeated in a PvP fight.
In terms of corrections, lots of improvements and bug-fixes have been made, especially in the High Houses quests, which will provide better experience to the players as far as their leveling goes.
The Special Item redemption process is now also fully active and functional for Spellborn Special/Premium Boxes owners. A detailed procedure is available on Spellborn Official Site: http://tcos.com/en/news,id208,item_redemption_premium_special_edition_owners_available.html
Last but not least, the developers of The Chronicles of Spellborn® greatly optimized the User Interface of the game, by implementing a font optimization which enables great readability of the text. An adjustment of the fog effects and the shadows for all characters now provides even more atmosphere to the world.
