World Basketball Manager Tycoon is Available for Download

Icehole games announced the release of the latest addition to its successful World Basketball Manager game series. WBM Tycoon is a completely new game mode that lets player become the owner of a basketball club and lead it to glory.

In classic WBM game the user creates his profile and starts his international career as the Manager of a basketball club, trying to become the best manager in the world.
But in WBM Tycoon the user is not only the Manager, but also the Club Owner and the Financial Manager, and he gets to create a new basketball franchise in any country he wants or take control of an existing one.

As the Club Owner the user must generate (or loan) the necessary funds in order to expand the club’s facilities, raise the financial level and improve the team’s roster in order to win titles.

And as he remains the Manager, he is still in charge of the Player’s training program and when the match day comes, he will have to select the team lineup, create the most appropriate strategy and find the way to victory by countering the opposing manager’s plans. Read more

Navy Field 2 Open Beta Launched

NEXON Europe is announcing the launch of the Navy Field 2 Open Beta. To celebrate the launch, there will be three exciting events for players to participate in.

Players can enlist in Navy Field 2 to enjoy the exciting RTS set on the seas of World War I and World War II, in which up to 64 players can battle for domination of the seas with over 170 ships. From submarines to aircraft carriers, each ship is customizable right down to the crew, and are fully realized through the impressive 3D graphics of the Gamebryo engine.

Players can battle it out with fleets from a host of nations, including the Imperial Japanese Navy, Royal Navy, US Navy, and the Kriegsmarine. Players are able to compete in a variety of epic missions such as Dover, Midway and the Solomon Isles with historically accurate fleets, or earn points in the ‘Total War’ Deathmatch mode.

NEXON Europe is calling all captains to the seas in three events full of battles, rewards and sea salt. The oceans are dangerous, and enemies cunning, so NEXON Europe will help new recruits into battle -as long as players prove their worth – and reward great leaders for customizing their fleets. Legends of Aethereus Multiplayer Beta Now Available

ThreeGates announced that Legends of Aethereus, an indie action RPG with up to four player co-op and a variety of PvP game types, has now released its full Multiplayer Beta.

The game has been in development since 2011 and had a successful Kickstarter in July 2012.

Legends of Aethereus has entered its pre-launch polish phase as the game prepares to launch in the coming months.

The title is currently a Steam Greenlight candidate and is looking at digital distribution platforms to bring the game directly to Windows PC, Linux and Mac players.

“We’ve been working hard to get the full multiplayer version of LoA out to our beta testers,” said Don Geyer, CEO of ThreeGates. “The feedback we’ve received from the single player beta was great and we are now looking to the community to test out the full feature set including four-player co-op, PvE and PvP game types.  We’ve have also added over one hundred skills, expanded the crafting system, improved the animation system and upgraded the GUI in the new beta version.”

WEBZEN Inc. announces an epic new update for the first-person shooter, ARCTIC COMBAT.

Beginning Thursday, April 18, 2013, players will be able to participate in a thrilling new 4-player co-op mode.

This exciting new mode marks the first major content update for ARCTIC COMBAT since its official launch in December 2012. The 4-player co-op mode will feature various levels of difficulty, all resulting in an assortment of rewards. The new feature will allow gamers from all different backgrounds, including more casual FPS-type players, to enjoy the game. BlizzCon 2013: Tickets for fanfest on sale April 24 and April 27

Get ready for a storm of epic proportions! Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. today announced that tickets for its seventh  BlizzCon gaming convention will go on sale in two batches on  April 24  and  April 27. In addition, a limited number of tickets to an exclusive pre-BlizzCon dinner to benefit  Children’s Hospital of Orange County will go on sale May 1.

Set to tear through the Anaheim Convention Center this November 8 and 9, BlizzCon is a thundering celebration of all things  WarcraftDiablo, and  StarCraft. The annual-ish two-day community gathering features in-depth discussion panels with Blizzard developers, hands-on play time with the latest Blizzard games, and tons of other exciting events and activities. As announced earlier this week, BlizzCon 2013 will also host the  StarCraft II World Championship Series Global Finals—a high-stakes showdown where the top pro players in the world will battle for the right to be crowned  StarCraft II World Champion.
