Publisher Iceberg Interactive announces that it will be distributing the cell-shaded fire-fighting simulation for PC “Real Heroes: Fire-fighter” via its global network of digital partners, in a deal with US- based companies Open-2 and Scientifically Proven Entertainment. The game will also appear on retail shelves across the UK and Ireland on 23 November 2012.
Iceberg Interactive Sales Director Howard Newmark says: “Real Heroes: Fire-fighter is an exciting non-violent action game, featuring an all-star Hollywood cast, from shows including Buffy, Rescue Me, Aliens and The Shield. It is one of the best fire-fighting simulations created to date. Many of us wanted to become firefighters when we were young, it being a heroic and dangerous profession, so we are eager to get this in front of a global audience very soon.”

The battles within War of the Roses have been brutal to say the least, but soon players will receive a whole new arsenal to wield havoc with on the field. Paradox Interactive and Fatshark today revealed more details on new content coming to medieval melee action title War of the Roses, including brand new sets of weaponry and armor, additional game modes, and some wintry new maps.
This November, War of the Roses will see its first new content drop, which will introduce a wide variety of weapons, including a horn-spanned crossbow for ranged enthusiasts and a Hospitaller pollaxe made famous by the company of knights bearing the same name. Players will also be able to get their gritty hands on the Milanese Knights Hospitaller crafted Heavy Armor, which can be customized with any of 10 different paint options, as well as an assortment of new visors and one new helmet.
Come winter, knights should start preparing for two new challenging game modes and snow-laden maps as the war for the crown of England heads into the harshest months of the year. The first mode being introduced is Pitched Battle, where soldiers for the houses of Lancaster and York will soon learn to value their lives. Wargaming announced that the highly anticipated line of British steel machines will invade World of Tanks with the upcoming Update 8.1. Tankmen will get their chance to follow the history of the British tank building mastering 22 iconic steel fortresses from the Royal Tank Corps, starting from the tiny Vickers Medium Mk I tank, and ending up with the intimidating FV 214 Conqueror top-tier heavyweight.
Update 8.1 will also feature such British WWII armored stalwarts as the Centurion Mk. I-IV and the Centurion Mk. V-XI medium tanks, the heavily armored Matilda medium, and the legendary Churchill heavies to comprise the first three branches of the British national tech tree.
Update 8.1 will introduce medium and light tanks, known for their speed and heavy firepower, as well as slower and better armored heavy vehicles. The British tank fleet will eventually be reinforced by the lines of SPGs and tank destroyers in one of the later updates. Read more
