Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light will be released on PlayStationNetwork and PC (via the Steam network).

“We can’t wait for PlayStation and PC gamers to get their hands on Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light,” said Darrell Gallagher, General Manager of Crystal Dynamics. “We’re committed to delivering the very best gameplay experience possible and the fact that this is the highest rated Lara Croft game since the original Tomb Raider was released back in 1996 is a testament to this. I would encourage everyone to try the free trial.”

From October to December the Downloadable Lara Croft campaign continues with 5 packs available across all formats. The first three are expansion packs featurig a combination of all new puzzle, exploration and combat experiences in the game and new areas to explore. The further two packs are playable character packs, offering gamers the chance to experience the entire adventure without Lara Croft and Totec and instead with some other well-known videogame characters…

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light will be available on PlayStation Network and Steam on September 28, 2010 for £9.99. The game will feature single player and full offline co-op campaign gameplay, with online co-op available at a later date. The game is rated PEGI 12+.

Square Enix Announces Downloadable Content for PC and Xbox 360

Square Enix Ltd. announced that downloadable content for SUPREME COMMANDER 2 is now available for PC and for the Xbox 360.

Developed by critically-acclaimed developer Gas Powered Games, the SUPREME COMMANDER 2 Infinite War Battle Pack will deliver new maps, units, experimentals, tech tree upgrades and boosts to the PC and a map pack DLC for Xbox 360.

PC & Xbox 360 maps include:

·        Way Station Zeta – This installation sits high above the surface of Gradius IV. Decommissioned after the Seraphim invasion, it served as a staging area for Cybran forces during the Infinite War.

Gods War Online: Bay under Attack instance launched

The folks at IGG are ready to roll out another delightfully difficult instance for GodsWar Online. “Bay under Attack” pits Level 50+ players against an army looking to damage the Greek economy by attacking a key port. To thwart this attack, you must gather a team of brave defenders and defend the docks.

The deadly Christina plotted a clandestine attack on ports key to Ancient Greece’s economic might. After elaborate and dangerous meetings with groups of bandits, mercenaries and Persian cutthroats, she soon had a small army. Football Manager 2011 reveals social media features

Release Date Confirmed as 5th November 2010

Sports Interactive and SEGA Europe announced that the PC version of Football Manager 2011 will include the ability to publish  achievements and goals to social networking sites, and will have a new camera angle for the 3D match view.

The 2011 version of the award-winning Football Manager series will introduce the ability to upload videos from the hugely improved Match Engine directly to a YouTube account. This will also include videos from the new match engine camera angle, dubbed the “TV camera” due to it being a moving and more zoomed in camera, much like you’d see when watching a match on TV.

Via Twitter, managers can set manual or automatic updates of achievements to their Twitter account, whilst STEAM users can publish over 80 achievements to a personal virtual manager’s office on www.footballmanager.com as well as their STEAM profiles.

14th free expansion for sci-fi MMO to launch in November

CCP has announced a new expansion for all subscribers and trial users of EVE Online that will be released in November, 2010.

EVE Online: Incursion will feature the escalating attacks of the deadly Sansha’s Nation which is bent on instituting itsown utopia and exacting vengeance against the pilots who stand in its way. Pilots can join public fleets and co-operate to destroy the Sansha incursions and return the universe to normal, receiving wealthy bounties, earning loyalty rewards and high commendation.

EVE Online: Incursion will also include many improvements as suggested by the Council of Stellar Management, as well as hardware upgrades, software improvements and new cluster components aimed at increasing game and fleet battle performance to even higher levels.

Further improvements include updating the character creator with CCP’s Carbon character technology for fresh pilot portraits, a Sansha Mothership and fighterbomber, the Noctis salvaging vessel, improvements to NPCs and their AI, new coveted loot and rewards, storyline events, amazing new visuals and a more dynamic and simplified system for Planetary Interaction.

EVEGate, the web-based social networking platform for pilots, sees improvements and additions such as new forums which underline the importance of organizational and communication tools in the virtual world. Anyone who would like to try out this structure-destroying hero can grab a card right now by logging into LOCO and heading to the AP Shop. Once activated, the hero card is good for 24 hours.

burda:ic has also revealed that new mission boards will be added to LOCO on a weekly basis. Mission boards are similar to a bingo card—when a row of quests on the mission board is completed, players are rewarded with a new item. If the entire mission board is completed, players receive a very rare and unique prize. All the new mission boards will be 7×7, giving players a total of 49 new quests to complete every week!

Highly Anticipated Online WWII Flight Combat Simulator Launches September 16th With All New Content

GamesCampus.com announced Heroes in the Sky.
