Nexon America has created an exciting video showing off the new boss monsters in Dungeon Fighter Online. These new foes were added during the recent Threshold of Power update, which increased the level cap to 50 and offered several new dungeons, where these vicious foes wait to smash any opposition.

To help Dungeon Fighters conquer these seven adversaries, Nexon has included some tips and tricks.

Samm Jang: Found at the end of Moonlight Tavern, surrounded by all sorts of thuggish and dangerous characters is the underboss of the Hendonis crime organization. Samm Jang uses an attack pattern typical of a Brawler from the back alleys and employs techniques such as the Brick Buster and the Single Shot. Once he is in the air, it is difficult to avoid his highly damaging attacks.

Death Dragon Spirazzi: The Catacombs were supposed to be the final resting place for Spirazzi, whose body was hacked to pieces long ago by the Dark Elves. Head into the dungeons of The Catacombs and make sure the Death Dragon stays dead. Its head is kept stationary by the massive chains the Dark Elves forged to hold it but it still blasts deadly poison from its mouth. And the Death Dragon can still move its head up and down quickly, unleashing varied attack patterns that present a great challenge.

Rocket Man: Leader of the deadly Cartel, Rocket Man is holding court in Odessa Streets. Left unchallenged, all of Arad will fall to them so someone must defeat the Rocket Man. It’s not going to be easy. The Rocket Man is a mechanized soldier that has a rocket launcher and rocket boosters attached to his body. He employs the boosters for quick lateral movement while firing machine guns from his arms and rockets from his back.

Sasquatch: An unexpected attack and a mysterious warning leave the Bantu of Frostfield fearful of the fabled Yeti, known as Sasquatch. This king of the Yetis loves dwelling in the snow. His attacks include swinging his extremely long arms to grab his opponents. He also utilizes well his snowy terrain, such as by pulling out a long ice beam from the ground to use as a weapon.

Michelle the Telekinetic: This powerful Scypher is found in Verderia, where her fellow mutants have been tortured, neglected and abandoned and are now being used for evil by the Cartel. Overpower Michelle, who used her incredible Telekinetic Powers to move objects in her environment with her mind, using them as weapons against her opponents, to convince the mutants to sever ties with the Cartel.

Titan, Goliath and Atlas:
Created by the necromancer Izura from lava found near the Scoria Core, these monsters team together to deliver a dreaded challenge for all Dungeon Fighters. When the Goliath becomes weak, he will summon Adors and Soul Eaters. Atlas utilizes a net to trap its enemies, while Titan cancels an opponent’s Buff and stuns them with its fist when Super Armor is in effect.

Shadow Knight Sayoung:
This swordsman stands at the end of the Labyrinth of Shadows, guarding the Slums and the secret of this living maze. The answer can only be obtained by Dungeon Fighters who muster the strength to penetrate the darkness. Contracted by the Dark Elves to guard their city, this Slayer mainly uses the Ghost Slash, the Saya and the Ghost Step. Be particularly careful when he summons the Tombstones.

Dragonica launches a brand new dungeon, The Temple of Water

February 1, 2010 · Filed Under MMO, News, Online · Comment

New monsters, weapons and zones await Dragonica players across Europe

Dragonica, the free manga-style online action game from the gPotato.eu games portal, is proud to announce that a brand new dungeon will be launched for low level players – The Temple of Water.

On February 4th 2010, the European versions of Dragonica will launch the brand new Temple of Water, accessible to all players and aimed at levels 26 – 30. And if that is not enough, we’d like to inform our players that only a couple of weeks after the opening of the Temple of Water, we will reopen the Drakos Dungeon, aimed at characters between levels 58 – 65.

The Temple of Water has been well known to the inhabitants of the great city of Port of the Winds for many centuries. Recently, the once benevolent Water Spirit “Endairon” cut all communication with the diplomatic leaders of the Dragon Fellowship, and strange aquatic creatures have been spotted emerging from the great Water Temple. The concerned Lord Steven has requested that all hardy and adventurous players should investigate the strange goings on and help the citizens of Port of the Winds to cleanse the temple of evil.

It is not yet known if the events that led to the disappearance of the Drakos Dungeon caused the Water Spirits in the Temple of Water to go mad, and soon players will again need to investigate the Drakos Dungeon to find out what has happened to its already strange inhabitants.

Existing players of Dragonica are invited to log back in to check out these new zones and to visit the official European website at http://dragonica.gpotato.eu. New players can download the game directly from http://en.dragonica.gpotato.eu/Download/Client.aspx or legally from Bittorrent.

Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising Overwatch downloadable content available announced

January 31, 2010 · Filed Under News · Comment

New ‘Overwatch’ video shows off killer new downloadable content, available to view at www.flashpointgame.com

The second Operation Flashpoint®: Dragon Rising™ downloadable content – the ‘Overwatch’ pack – will be available for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft® today and will follow shortly for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and PC, Codemasters® has announced. The ‘Overwatch’ DLC delivers two game-changing multiplayer modes and new Fire Team Engagement (FTE) missions.

Showcasing the new content and modes featuring in the DLC, a new ‘Overwatch’ gameplay video is now available from www.flashpointgame.com. Players are shown engaged in electrifying combat, deploying a range of military assets from short and long range weaponry to armour and helicopters in tense battles for superiority in the new game modes and FTEs.

The ‘Overwatch’ DLC extends the unique Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising experience in solo, co-operative and adversarial play. In new multiplayer mode Blindside the PLA must complete objectives in the shortest time possible while the USMC defends in tense, tactical engagements. An additional new mode, Supremacy, tasks opposing forces to occupy strategically vital positions featuring force multipliers like gun emplacements and air strikes.

These new multiplayer modes are complimented by two exhilarating new FTEs. In Friendly Skies, PLA anti-aircraft artillery prevents US airborne reinforcements inserting into the combat zone. Players must remove that threat and then defend the position from a PLA counter attack. In Hostile Takeover, intel reveals enemy movement in the village of Armudan, a perfect base for launching attacks deep into enemy territory. Gamers must flush out the PLA, establish a perimeter and hold their ground against a new enemy assault.

Head to www.flashpointgame.com for the new video and further information on the ‘Overwatch’ pack. The ‘Overwatch’ pack will be available from Xbox Live Marketplace (400 Microsoft Points) today and will be available on the PlayStation Network (£3.19 / $4.99 / €3.99) and PC (free to download) soon.

Dungeon Fighter Online Threshold of Power update

January 29, 2010 · Filed Under MODs, News, Online · Comment

Dungeon Fighter Online continues to offer players new, exciting methods to defeat foes in the exciting action-adventure online title with 18 new skills added in the “Threshold of Power” update which is now live and available for players to download for free. Nexon has released a video highlighting the new skills added to the game.

There are four new skills for the Fighter, Gunner, Slayer and Mage classes and a pair of new skills for the Priest class. Each of these skills are for specific character subclasses.

Here are the new skills for the Fighter class:
Illusion Sword Dance: Blade Masters can learn this skill, which quickly slashes enemies directly in front of the Blade Master multiple times and then, on the last slash, shoots an ethereal spirit sword at the area in front of the player.
Outrage Break: Berserkers will apply this skill by hammering the ground with a bloody spirit sword that launches enemies into the air and hits them with the debris created by the strike.
Summon Kalla of Dark Flame: Soul Benders will summon Kalla of Dark Flame, who will attack enemies with its dopplegangers. When hit by Kalla’s doubles, enemies burn with dark flames that deal magical damage at regular intervals.
Agni Pentacle: This skill creates a Weave Pentacle that lifts enemies into the sky and then inflicts damage with Agni’s fire for the Asura subclass.
These are the new Gunner class skills:
X-1 Extruder: This Launcher skill harnesses a large amount of energy into an orb and releases it to inflict heavy damage.
Death Hawk: This will throw the Ranger’s gun, which whirls like a boomerang around the screen, inflicting shooting damage on an enemy before returning to the Ranger.
Sparrow Factory: Mechanics use this skill, which constructs a temporary factory that spits out damage-inflicting sparrows that attack enemies within range.
Neil the Sniper: The Spitfire subclass can use this skill to request a backup sniper to pick off enemies. Select a target by using the arrow keys and snipe by pressing the skill key.
The Mage class has these new skills:
Zealous Creature: Summoners utilize this skill, which increases the strength, intelligence, attack and movement speed of summoned creatures while also reducing their skill cooldown.
Gold Dragon Spear: Battle Mages summon a Gold Dragon Spear, which stabs enemies directly in front of the Battle Mage, which herds them to a corner, detonates Dragon Chasers around them and finishes them off with a huge explosion that inflicts a lot of damage. Be wary because not all enemies can be herded.
Florae Collider: The Witch subclass plants a Florae Collider into the ground and it generates a powerful electric field. This skill inflicts Neutral magic damage and immobilizes enemies.
Mega Drill: The Witch who uses this skill will form a Mega Drill in the air and drops it onto the ground, creating a shockwave that inflicts Neutral damage on enemies. The Witch rides the drill, which is controlled with the arrow keys, to do more damage.
Priests add two new skills:
Healing Wind: This skill allows Crusaders to raise the HP and MP of allies within range and establishes a protective barrier.
Hurricane’N’Roll: This skill pulls surrounding enemies toward the Monk, who then delivers consecutive right and left hooks before blowing enemies away with powerful uppercuts. This skill is only available when Will Driver is active.
